You will learn how to use the reset button (pinhole) to reset your Swann Security recorder to factory settings, thereby resetting the password.
WARNING: For security and privacy reasons to stop malicious access, restoring your DVR, NVR, or NVW will reset all saved changes to the settings available, and the storage device (HDD or SD card) will also be formatted, removing any recordings.
For NVW recorders (including MaxRanger4K™), this will also unpair all the NVW cameras. You will need to re-pair the cameras with your recorder after the reset process is complete.
