What is Error 10012 (SwannView Plus app)?

NOTE: Before doing the troubleshooting steps make sure your are ONSITE with the DVR or NVR.
Rebooting the DVR or NVR
This can be achieved by accessing the Menu of the DVR or NVR OR simply unplug the power cable or adapter for 5 seconds, then plugging it back in.
Checking the password
Login to the unit itself to see if the password is correct.
- If the password works, proceed to re-adding the device.
- If it doesn’t work, reset the password and try again on the app. Continue on re-adding the device if it still didn’t work.
Re-adding the device
- Delete the DVR or NVR on the SwannView Plus app.
- For iOS – swipe the device to the left and tap on the Delete button.
- For iOS – swipe the device to the left and tap on the Delete button.
- For Android – tap and hold the device and select Confirm to delete the device.
2. To add the device, visit How to access the DVR or NVR using SwannView Plus app and proceed “Adding the device and viewing it on the app” section.
3. If it still fails, proceed on force closing the app.
Force closing the app
- For iOS device:
- Quickly press the home button twice.
- Look for the SwannView Plus app.
- Swipe up to force close the app.
- Once you’re done, open the app and check if you can now access the device.
- For Android device:
- Press your Recents button
