When you contact Swann Technical Support to report issues with pairing, streaming, playback, notifications, and all other features of the Swann Security app, the following information will be required:

App version number
Phone model
Android/iOS version of your phone

Use the steps below on how to locate the information above.

Android (via app)

Open the Swann Security app.
Tap on the 3 lines beside the Swann logo at the top.
Go to About.
Check the Version number below "Swann Security".
You can also provide the model of your phone and Android version number.

iOS and iPads are unable to view the operating system version of your phone via this method. Visit the following link: How to get your phone's OS version.

Alternatively, you can find the app version in your Phone's Settings if the app is unable to open. See below.

Android

1. Tap and hold the app icon and select App Info (1st image) (or go to Settings > Apps (2nd image) (name may vary depending on the phone) and select the app you want to check (3rd image))
2. Swipe all the way to the bottom to see the App version (4th image)
