Start accessing the MENU
·Since we now know our goal, it is a matter of checking now the settings which one is which ·Go to MENU > ALARM then go either MOTION, VIDEO LOSS, or EXCEPTION below.
*The ALARM tab is for DVR-3425 with Alarm system
Motion Settings
- Under this setting, you may want to check EACH CHANNEL and click SET beside ACTION.
- If you see the box beside Audio Warning colored white, this means it is enabled. This just tells us that the DVR will beep whenever the camera detects movement.
- Disable it if it bothers your customer.
Video Loss Settings
- Under this setting, you may want to check EACH CHANNEL and click SET beside ACTION.
- If you see the box beside Audio Warning colored white, this means it is enabled. This just tells us that the DVR will beep whenever the specific channel detects no camera connected.
- Disable it if it bothers you.
Exception Settings
- Under this setting, you may want to check EACH EXCEPTION TYPE.
- If you see the box beside Audio Warning colored white, this means it is enabled. This just tells us that the DVR will beep whenever the specific exception is triggered.
