If you are using a power adapter splitter for your cameras and experiencing "Video Loss", perform the following troubleshooting steps to identify whether the issue lies with the power splitter or the power adapter (PSU).
How to test
- Remove the power splitter from the red connectors.
- Connect the red connector of the extension cable to the camera PSU one-by-one.
- Check if each camera will show on the TV.
-
If all cameras work on-by-one, the splitter is faulty.
-
If the cameras are still not working, proceed to swapping power adapters by follow this guide or this guide to swap cameras and BNC cables.
