How to stop sharing access to your unit or Swann Security account
Swann Security recorders and the Swann Security app are equipped with a password that you configured when you first set them up.
If you believe that someone else is logging into or "hacked" your recorder or your Swann Security account, you can take the following measures:

- Change the password of your recorder or account. Make sure to remember your password.
- Do not share your password with anyone.
- Disable unauthorized users.
- See this article to know how to disable or change permissions: How to enable/disable other user logins in V8 DVR / NVR
- Do not share the P2P ID, the MAC / Device ID, and your Swann Security account email address (except to Tech Support for account verification and network tests).
- As a last resort, change your email address. This requires you to unpair the device first before pairing to your new account: Swann Security app: I changed email address.
Note: Swann Technical Support has no means of identifying who has access to your recorder system or Swann Security account. Nor do they have any way of blocking anyone from accessing.
