If you have received or downloaded a firmware file from us in a .zip form, please unzip the files first before copying to a USB disk for firmware update.

The most common firmware file extension for our devices are .sw and .img.

Follow the guide below based on your computer type to unzip the file.

Windows

Open File Explorer and find the .zip file.
To unzip the entire folder, right-click and select Extract All.
Leave all the default options and click Extract.
The files will be extracted in the same directory as the zip file. Copy the unzipped folder to your USB disk.

Mac

Double-click the .zip file.

- The unzipped item appears in the same folder as the .zip file. If you want to, you can delete the .zip file.

Note: If you can’t open the .zip file, make sure you have enough space on your Mac for the unzipped item. If you received the .zip file from someone else, there might be a problem with the file. Ask them to zip the file again and resend it.
