If you will be moving and leaving your Swann recorder and camera system for new home owners, please do the following:
- Unplug the cameras then format the hard drive to erase recordings. Go to Setup/Menu > Device > HDD > Check the box and click on Init or Format HDD.
- Restore the DVR to factory settings. This will ensure the password is removed. Go to Setup > Advanced > Load Default. Select All and choose Save. Unplug the recorder from power once you see the Startup Wizard.
- Remove the device from your Swann Security app account if it is still paired so that the new user may pair to his own account if he wishes. See Remove Swann Security Account
