Are the email address and password case sensitive?
Email address and password are case sensitive.
I used Gmail but I can't login, what should I do?
Double check for special characters.
When logging in to Gmail, myemail@gmail.com and my.email@gmail.com (with a 'dot') will be taken as the same by Google and let you in once you type the correct password.
In Swann Security platform reads this as different emails.
Should I create an account?
DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT—this won't resolve the issue; especially if you have already using Swann Security before. This error is a matter of incorrect email address or password only.
Your Swann Security app login is not the same as your PC/Mac software password.
The Swann Security app credentials (email address and password) are stored on Swann’s servers and used only for the mobile app. In contrast, the Swann Security software for PC and Mac uses separate credentials saved locally on your computer.
If you've forgotten the software password, it cannot be recovered through the app. To regain access, you will need to reinstall the software
