Why Are the Deterrent Light, Siren, and SwannForce Disabled on My Recorder?

What is the Deterrent tab for?

You would need to enable the feature (Light / Siren / SwannForce) to have it run for 10-60 seconds. By ticking the checkbox, you have allowed it to run automatically when it gets triggered while following the set Schedule.

If you want to manually turn the light or siren on or off, you can click on a channel in your Live View until the camera toolbar appears.

You can then select the bulb icon to see the Deterrent feature controls to turn on or off the light or siren.

 

How long will it run?

The Deterrent features will turn off when it reaches the duration set in the settings or when turned off manually. There are specific durations you can set for each Deterrent feature; so you can set the light to turn on for 60 seconds for example, while having the siren alarm for 10 seconds only.

 

When will it run?

Click the gear icon under Schedule on your selected camera to see the schedule. This applies to all deterrent features.
