V7: Beeping recorder

Things to have:	Things to do:
Mouse and monitor connected to the recorder. Access to admin account.	Check the settings: Motion Events (Event Types)

 

Check the Motion settings

1. Access Menu then go to Alarm > Motion.

2. On  each  channel,  Disable  the  Buzzer  to  your desire. If Enable, it triggers the buzzer to alert you whenever the camera detects movement, 

3. Click on Save to save the settings.

Check Advanced Events if beeping continues

1. Access Menu then go to Advanced > Events. 
2. On each Event Type, the Buzzer should be OFF to your desire. 
3. Click on Save to save the settings.

Here are different Event Types:

1. No Space on Disk – Overwrite is disable; check the settings.
2. Disk Error – can be HDD is not detected; may need to format if still detected
3. Video Loss – one channel loses or doesn’t have a camera detected; the recorder is smart enough to identify if there WAS a camera connected or not, no need to worry about ‘what if there is really no camera on ch4’ for example

NOTE: Both settings can also send email; therefore, if the issue is similar but via email, check the same settings.
