Special Cases
Power Hub Already Set Up (Password Required)
If the Swann Security app asks for a password instead of creating one, it means your Power Hub has already been set up before. This can happen if:
- A technician installed it earlier.
- The unit was previously used in another home or business.
- You purchased a property that already had the Power Hub installed.
To proceed with the set up, enter the existing password of the Power Hub, then tap on Android or on iOS.
- If you know the password, proceed with setup.
- If you don’t know the password, you’ll need to perform a Power Hub Password Reset
If you’re unsure whether the unit is brand new or previously set up: The password prompt is your sign—it has already been configured at some point.
