Can I View My Standalone Camera on a PC or Mac

Short answer: No

Standalone cameras are designed to be viewed and managed through the Swann Security app on supported Android and iOS devices. There is currently no supported Windows or macOS software for accessing these cameras.

Apple Silicon Macs

If you have an Apple Silicon Mac (such as M1, M2, M3, or newer), you can install the Swann Security for iOS app from the Mac App Store, provided it is available for your device. While this allows you to view your camera on your Mac, the app is primarily designed for iPhone and iPad, so some features or interface elements may not work as expected.

Windows PCs

Some users choose to run the Android version of the Swann Security app using third-party Android emulators, such as BlueStacks. However, this setup is not supported by Swann. As a result, we cannot provide setup instructions or technical support for installation, performance, or compatibility issues when using third-party software.

Regardless where you try to install the Swann Security app, you still need to pair the camera to Swann Security. Follow the instruction on pairing standalone camera here
