Indoor cameras can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a ceiling or walls (except pan & tilt cameras) without the need to drill and then screw to mount it.
Outdoor cameras have no problem being mounted on a ceiling or under eaves.
If mounted upside down, you can flip the image horizontally (Mirror) and vertically (Flip) in the camera's settings within the app.
Enable both and you'll rotate the image 180 degrees.
