Answer: The AllSecure650 (NVW-650 recorder and NVW-600CMB cameras) and AllSecure4K (NVW-800 recorder and NVW-AS4KCAM cameras) are only capable of connecting to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi frequency which should be enough if you want a wireless setup.
If you really need 5 GHz connection, you can purchase the SWACC-USBWIFIV2 - USB Wi-Fi Antenna for Wired & Wire-Free Camera Kits which is capable of doing so.
DID YOU KNOW? Most routers use a single SSID or Wi-Fi name for both its 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal. That said, if you're having trouble connecting your camera to the 2.4 GHz frequency, you may need to disable the 5 GHz first so the camera can easily connect to the 2.4 GHz; if your router supports this feature.
