How to Reboot using Swann Security App

Plug-in or AC-powered Cameras

- Turn off - Unplug its power adapter
- Turn on - Plug in the power adapter
- Reboot - Unplug its power adapter, wait for a few seconds, then plug it back in
SWIFI-4KFLOCAM / SWIFI-SLMFLC
This camera is hard to reach and directly connected to the AC power line or junction box, so the simplest way to turn it off is via your circuit breaker. If a switch is installed between the camera and breaker, you can use that instead—whichever is more convenient. The key is to cut the power to disable it.
If this camera plugged into an outlet, the easiest way to turn it off is by unplugging it. However, if accessing the outlet is difficult, you can also turn it off via your circuit breaker. The goal is simply to cut the power to disable it.
To turn the camera back on, restore power by either plugging it back into the outlet or flipping the switch back on if one is installed. If the camera was turned off via the circuit breaker, turn the breaker back on. Choose the method based on how the power was originally cut and what’s easiest for you.
Lastly, to reboot the camera, turn it off for a few seconds then turn it back on.
SWIFI-COREPRO / SWIFI-CORECAM
- Turn off - open the rubber cap on the bottom of the camera, slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position
- Turn on - open the rubber cap on the bottom of the camera, slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position
- Reboot - turn it off, leave it for a minute, then switch it back on.
SWIFI-SEVDBC / SWIFI-4KBUDDY / SWIFI-BUDDY
Open the rubber cover at the back to reveal the RST and SET buttons.
- Turn off - Using a paper clip or a similar tool, press the RST button

- Reboot - turn it off, leave it for a minute, then switch it back on.
SWIFI-4KPTBC
- Turn off - Using a paperclip or similar tool, briefly press the Reset button to power it off.
- Turn on - After turning it off, wait for 1 minute. If it has been off for a while, briefly press the Reset button to turn it on.
- Reboot - turn it off, leave it for a minute, then switch it back on.
