What is Lifetime Warranty?
Swann provides a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty on all devices purchased from swann.com website in Australia, United States, Canada and United Kingdom. Swann adheres to all statutory and legal warranty requirements in these regions. This is standard warranty.
Products purchased from distributors in New Zealand, Taiwan, Japan, and Europe do not follow manufacturer's warranty but that of the distributor in adherence to their respective region's trade laws. Distributor's warranty is usually 1 year from the date of purchase.
The following applies to products purchased in Australia, United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.
With a valid active subscription activated within 6 months from date of purchase, Swann extends this warranty to 36 months or more. This is known as extended warranty or lifetime warranty.
The term "Lifetime" in the Lifetime warranty refers to both the duration of the Secure+ membership and the lifespan of the Swann product associated with the membership. If a compatible device with an active Secure+ subscription becomes faulty after the 24-month manufacturer’s warranty period, it can be replaced. If the equivalent model is no longer available, the replacement will be an upgraded unit of similar type, value, and features.
How to get Lifetime Warranty
If you purchased your Swann Security product within the last 6 months from an authorized retailer in Australia, United States, Canada and United Kingdom and enrolled in a Secure+ Membership during that time, your Lifetime warranty will be valid as long as your subscription remains active.
The extended warranty is only applicable while you are an active Secure+ member. If you cancel or discontinue your subscription, the Lifetime warranty will end, and you will no longer be eligible for the extended warranty on that product.
If you do not subscribe to a Secure+ Membership within 6 months of purchase, the Extended Warranty will not apply, and only the standard warranty from the date of purchase will be valid.
What Swann devices are compatible with Lifetime Warranty?
Products that are compatible with the Swann Security app and are tied to an active Secure+ subscription that started between the date of purchase (from authorized retailer in Australia, United States, Canada and United Kingdom) and the 6th month from date of purchase.

How to claim Lifetime Warranty
To claim warranty, you must:
- Retain your active Secure+ membership for the same device since the start of subscription. The device must never be unpaired nor removed from the associated subscription and subscribing account.
- Contact our Technical Support team anytime beyond the standard warranty to assess your device if it needs replacement/repair.
- Present your copy of the original proof of purchase for warranty verification.
Is Lifetime Warranty the same as Lifetime Support?
No.
We understand there might be some confusion regarding the "Lifetime Support" indicated on your product's packaging or manual. Some packaging or manuals of products contain a stamp or sticker indicating "Lifetime Support".
Lifetime Support refers to our commitment to providing 24/7 phone, email, or chat assistance for the duration of your Swann product's hardware life. Unlike some manufacturers who limit support to the first year or two after purchase, Swann offers free access to our helpdesk for as long as you are a direct purchaser of the product from Swann's authorised retailers and your product is operational regardless of warranty status.
Please note that Lifetime Support is not lifetime warranty. All Swann products have lifetime support, but some do not have lifetime warranty without a valid Swann Security subscription. Support ends if you return the product or if it reaches the end of its manufacturing shelf life. Additionally, if the product or its parts are no longer in production or compatible with updated mobile and network infrastructures, our support team can recommend suitable upgrades or alternatives.
