How to Set Up Push Notifications in Your HomeSafe View App

Set Detection to PIR and Motion and enable Push
- Identify which channel your Thermal sensing camera is connected to.
- From the unit's interface, access the Menu then go to Alarm then Motion.
- Select the channel where the PIR camera is connected.
- Change the Detection dropdown to PIR and Motion
NOTE: If this option is not available, go to System > Info and see if your Software Version shows 2017 or older (e.g. V7.1.0-20160721). If it is, click here. - You then need to tick the checkbox beside Push.
- Hit on Save to save the settings.
- Repeat all of these to other channels that have PIR cameras connected.
Enable Notification settings (iOS)
- Go to your phone's settings first then look for HomeSafe View.
- Tap on Notifications.
- Enable Allow Notifications.
Enable Push on the app (Android and iPhone)
- Open the HomeSafe View app. Ensure that you can access the cameras normally first.
NOTE: If you haven't set it up yet, check this article first: How to access the DVR or NVR using HomeSafe View app? - Tap the 3-bar icon (top left) and choose Alarms.
- Tap the gear icon (top right).
- Toggle the switch on; it should show Push.
Enable Push on the app (iPad)
- Open the HomeSafe View app. Ensure that you can access the cameras normally first.

- Tap the Alarm icon (top right).
- Toggle the switch on; it should show Push.
