DVRx-2500: Setup Motion Recording

 

When setting up motion recording for the DVR 2500 systems, you need to set the Schedule page of the DVR and enable the Alarm. Go to the Record Setup. Next to the REC MODE, select TIME SCHEDULE RECORD.Next to this, select Schedule.

 

Next to Channel, select All. Then, select the Schedule option and set the time and days there to Alarm (red boxes on all of them).

 

DON’T FORGET TO HIT THE APPLY BUTTON AFTER SETTING UP THE SCHEDULE! Then, you can go ahead and setup the Motion settings and hit the Apply button again.

 

When it records motion, a letter “M” will popup on the camera and this indicates that the DVR is recording.

 

You can change the motion record time in the DVR too. Unfortunately, this is not in the manual. Just go to the Alarm page in the Devices section, then go to Alarm Manage and change the Duration option to 30 seconds, 1 min, 2 mins, or 5 mins. Again, hit the Apply button before exiting out of the Menu screen.
