AlwaysSafe app access - an alternative app to SwannView Link
The AlwaysSafe app offers a powerful alternative to SwannView Link, delivering a streamlined approach to managing your security system. That said, while Remote Viewing and Playback features are still available, please note that some app features may not work.

Did the app detect the recorder?
When you open the app, it may or may not have the unit added yet.
- If your recorder has been added, tap the gear icon then click here to jump to the next step.
- If the device list is still blank, tap the plus icon at the top-right then proceed below
Scan to Add Device
Once the camera on your phone is open, scan the QR code of your unit.
You can also tap on Enter to type the QR code manually if your not in front of the unit. Tap Next once done.
Enter your Username and Password
Enter the username and password of your recorder on the app then hit Login.
Auto-detect
Tap the error message Username or password error; this will appear if you are not using the default password if your unit has one.
Then, enter the correct username and password of your recorder on the app then hit Login.
If you get an error message, please check the following:
- Username or password is incorrect - ensure that you typed in the username and password of your recorder to the app correctly
- Connection Failed - this means the app cannot connect with the recorder. This is mostly network related, therefore either check your phone connection or the recorder's.
