NOTE: This guide is for the following recorders : NVW-1080H, NVW-480, NVW-490, DVR-1000 (16channel),1250, 1260, 1425, 1450, 1580, 2555, 2900, 3000, 3200, 3250, 3260, 3425, 3450, 4000, 4100, 4150, 4200, 4400, 4550, 4600, 4750, 5000, HDR6-8000, HDR6-8100, HDR4-8200, NVR-7072, 7082, 7085, 7285, 7300, 7400
When you open the app, it may or may not have the unit added yet.
- If your recorder has been added, tap the gear icon then click here to jump to the next step.
- If the device list is still blank, tap the plus icon at the top-right then proceed below
Scan to add
Once the camera on your phone is open, scan the QR code of your unit.
You can also tap on Enter to type the QR code manually if your not in front of the unit. Tap Next once done.

Autodetect
If you get an error message, please check the following:
- Username or password is incorrect - ensure that you typed in the username and password of your recorder to the app correctly
- Connection Failed - this means the app cannot connect with the recorder. This is mostly network related, therefore either check your phone connection or the recorder's.
NOTE: This can be used as an alternative app to SwannView Link. Remote Viewing and Playback features are still available however, not all features of the app can be used to your recorder.
