Error: Failed to commit reset password
Please avoid using simple passwords like "admin" or "1234"; these common patterns are the first things hackers test, and using them leaves your personal data and account access vulnerable to instant automated theft.
Clicking an expired reset link or already used reset link may still ask you to enter your new password; but once you submit it, an error message will appear.
Types of Failed to commit reset password error
Failed to commit reset password. ErrorCode: 1063; Reason: The LoginRadius verification token is invalid, please use a valid verification token in order to process this request
Failed to commit reset password. ErrorCode: 974; Reason: Verification code has expired or already been used
What does this mean? Both errors mean that the link you clicked is either expired or already been used. Different errors because one is used when we were using a different platform.
How to Fix This
- Request for a password reset again via Swann Security app
- Make sure to click the link from the latest or newest email that you received.
