This guide explains what each LED light on your MaxRanger4K™ Base Station means and how to troubleshoot common issues.
Before you start:
- Make sure your base station is plugged in or has a battery backup.
- Check that your cameras and Wi-Fi network are ready for setup.
Pick Your Starting Point
Power LED (Green)
The Green Power LED must always be solid ON when the base station is functioning normally.

Camera Pairing LED (Blue)
The Blue Camera Pairing LED blinks when in Camera Pairing Mode.

Network LED (Red)
There three different status for the Network LED:
- Blinking Red = Wi-Fi pairing mode
- Solid Red = Connected to a network
- Off = No network detected
Is the Network LED off?
- For wired setup, reconnect the Ethernet cable, use different port on the router, or use a different cable.
- For wireless setup, if you changed router or the Wi-Fi details is now different from your previous Wi-Fi, re-do the set up by tapping and scanning its QR code. Make sure to enter the new Wi-Fi details.
