How to Switch Users in the Recorder's Main Menu

If your recorder has more than one user login enabled (How to Enable or Disable the Guest User Access on Your Recorder), you can switch between admin and the user.

Note: 

• This is not the way to reset the admin password. Forgot Password is under Search or Setup.
• This has no relevance to your Swann Security app or pairing to the Swann Security app.

To switch between enabled users in the recorder

1. Right-click the mouse in Live View mode to display the Menu Bar.
   
2. Click on the first top option which is usually admin or user1. 
3. Select the user you want to switch to.
   
4. Type the password for that user.
5. Then click on Switch User.
   
6. From there, you can go to Search or Setup depending on the permissions allowed for the user login you selected.
