How to Configure Audio Settings for PRO Cameras with Microphone

NOTE: MQB cameras or cameras that runs audio through BNC or video cable are only compatible on certain models. Please check the model number of your camera or recorder to see compatible devices

Not hearing any sounds? You might not have set the correct Audio Input Type on your recorder.

From the DVR's Menu, go to System > General then change Audio Input Type to Coaxial Audio.

Once done, go to Record > Mainstream or Substream then check the boxes under Audio column to head the audio. Keep in mind which channel the camera is connected.

NOTE: If you have a 4ch DVR, you will have 4 checkboxes under Audio column that you can enable assigned to channels 1 to 4.

If you have an 8ch DVR, then you will get 8 checkboxes.
