If you try to pair your device to a Swann security account, but it is already paired to another Swann Security account, you will get error code 2002. A camera can only be paired to a single Swann Security account.
Access for multiple phones
To access the camera on multiple devices or phones, you must login to the same Swann Security account on the other mobile device or phone.
Access for multiple users
DVRs and NVRs with Cameras
If you do not wish to share your Swann Security account access with multiple users, you can create other user logins in the recorder. See Smart Security User Manual.
An alternative is for them to use HomeSafe View app. More than one user/phone can access the same product using the compatible app as long as the UID or P2P ID, admin username and password of the recorder are known. See instructions here: HomeSafe View Phone App QSGs & Manuals
Standalone WiFi Security Cameras
Unlike recorders, standalone WiFi cameras can only be paired and viewed on a single Swann Security account.
To access the cameras on multiple devices, you must login to the same Swann Security account that the camera is paired to.
Access after change of email address
If you want to register the camera to another account, you'll first need to unpair the camera from the account it's currently registered to. See instructions here: Swann Security app: I changed email address.
Access for those who bought a property with unit or secondhand unit or a brand new unit never paired before
If you get this error when pairing to only one mobile device, please request a chat for "remote access" and follow the Swann Assistant troubleshooting to know what is needed to unpair from the previous account. For tips, see FAQs for New Home Owners with a Swann Security recorder and camera system
