Managing your security system should be simple and flexible. In this guide, we’ll show you how to hide specific cameras from the live view in the Swann Security app, so you can control what you see when you open it. We'll also cover how to stop battery-powered cameras from waking up unnecessarily, helping you save power without compromising security.
List, Grid, and Dynamic View
When in the Live View tab, tap the 3 dots icon at the top-right. Tapping the first option multiple times will toggle between:
- List View - Each camera will occupy the entire width of your device and it will show you a single-column list of cameras
- Grid View - Each camera will occupy half of your device's width to display a two-column list of cameras
- Dynamic View (only in Android) - The arrangement will vary depending on your setting in the Live View Settings
Select Live View Settings (only in Android) then proceed to the next step to learn how to hide selected cameras.
NOTE: In iOS, there is no option to hide a specific stand-alone camera, and offline channels in a recorder will be hidden automatically.
