How to Install the Swann Security Video Doorbell with Angled Wedge

The Swann Horizontal Wedge is a simple yet powerful accessory for your SwannBuddy Video Doorbell and MaxRanger4K™ Video Doorbell. It allows you to angle the doorbell 30° to the left or right, giving you a better view of approaching visitors and improving motion detection—especially useful if your doorbell is mounted on a side wall or a narrow porch

REMINDER: Before installation, make sure to pair the doorbell to Swann Security first as its QR code is located at the back, and will be difficult to get once mounted.

Step-by-Step Installation

1. Choose Your Angle
   Decide whether you want to angle the doorbell to the left or right.
   Flip the wedge 180° to change the direction.
2. Attach the Wedge to the Wall
   Position the wedge directly against the wall at your mounting location.
   Use the supplied (long) screws to secure the wedge firmly.
3. Mount the Bracket to the Wedge
   Align your existing SwannBuddy mounting bracket with the holes on the wedge.
   Use the supplied (short) screws to fasten the bracket onto the wedge.
4. Install the Doorbell
   Attach your SwannBuddy Video Doorbell to the mounted bracket as usual.
5. Secure with Anti-Tamper Screw
   Fasten the anti-tamper screw at the base to prevent theft or tampering.
