How to open Swann Security VMS/VMX software from Microsoft Edge

This guide shows you how to open the downloaded installer file for Swann Security software (VMS or VMX) if you get this error upon download using Microsoft Edge browser: 

(Swann Security)...exe isn't commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust (Swann Security)...exe before you open it.

This error came up when using Microsoft Edge browser on Windows 11.

How to bypass Microsoft Defender Smartscreen in Microsoft Edge browser for Swann Security software installation: 

1. Go to the Downloads section of your browser.
2. Click on the 3 dots beside the warning.
   
3. Click on Keep.
   
4. You will get a pop-up as such. Click on the arrow ⮟ beside Delete.
   
5. Click on Keep anyway.
   
6. Now you click on Open file to start the installation.
