Know the model number: Swann is a pioneer of Do-it-Yourself security systems and products. Therefore, we do not provide installation services or field technicians. Before using this system, you must first know your unit's model number.

Read the User Manual and related articles: Security system recorders with cameras require a complete physical setup to a TV or monitor to view live footage and configure settings for recordings.

Reset the Password (if you don't have it): If you managed to connect a TV or monitor to the recorder, you need to know the password set by the previous owner or reset it.

Device Already Paired: If you have tried pairing your recorder to the Swann Security app and are encountering an error code 2002 or "device is already paired", the device may still be paired to the previous owner's account. Please contact Swann Tech Support via chat to help you unpair the device from the previous owner.
