3. Add your Recorder
- Click the Home icon (top-left) then choose Device Management
- Click the plus (+) icon (top-right)
- Device Name: <name anything you like>
- Login Type: ID
- ID: <20-character alphanumeric code; found at the top of your recorder>
- Protocol: Private
- HTTP Port: 85 (default)
- User Name: <recorder's admin username; default is admin>
-
Password: <recorder's password>
- Click Add
4. Start monitoring your cameras
Once the device is added, it will show you all the online cameras that you have.
NOTE: When viewing multiple cameras, the default is in substream which is a lower image quality to accommodate streaming multiple cameras.
If you want to see a higher image quality on your camera, we recommend setting your selected channel in full screen first, then right-click on the channel and select mainstream.
Depending on your network connection, you may be able to stream more than one channel in mainstream. Regardless, this only affects the streaming quality; not the recording.
